Over the past 16 years, FNRA in
Volunteer committees all across the state are making a difference with the Friends program. They all believe in the commitment to preserve the Second Amendment and are working to help raise funds to keep like-minded organizations moving forward with training and competitions.

| Since its inception, The NRA Foundation, Inc., has funded more than 15,000 grants totaling over $125 million, becoming America's leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports. The NRA Foundation continues to expand its efforts to fund a variety of programs in communities across the nation. Through its support of local clubs, law enforcement agencies, youth organizations, hunting and conservation groups, teachers, school children and civic associations, the foundation reaches out to meet the needs of Americans everywhere.
State Fund Grants are awarded to eligible applicants for qualifying projects or activities that promote firearms and hunting safety; enhance the marksmanship skills of those participating in the shooting sports; educate the general public about firearms in their historic, technological, and artistic context; or contribute to the general well-being of the public at large. |

The Friends of NRA operates under the NRA Foundation, a non-profit arm of the National Rifle Assoc. The Foundation has no employees to absorb net profits! The NRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible charitable organization.
All net money raised goes directly back to deserving organizations. The funds are divided equally between the state where they are generated, and a national level account.
